My promotional poster, 2022 calendar and digital screens concept. I explored the concept of static through colour, texture, movement and typography in an abstract way. It was interesting to merge the appearance of static from film and the more digital style we see today. This was important to consider as Melbourne Cinémathèque aim to present films in the medium they were created and as closely as possible to how they would have been screened in the past.
The A1 folded calendar uses the colours from within the textured background of the poster design as solid background colours that change based on the season. I also applied the line effect over the stills in the corresponding colours. I also created one promotional digital screen and two versions of the season digital screens.
My final identity was one of 10 shortlisted for the 2022 campaign.
